Unfortunately, we have to cancel our soak off kit pickup, tomorrow, March 28th. Our supplier has cancelled all shipping and production and we are unable to make any more kits. We are so sorry for the inconvenience! We are trying our best to get our hands on supplies from other companies. We will be in touch if/when we are able to get more kits made. We apologize again!

This is a very stressful and scary time for all of us but PLEASE DON’T TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR NAILS!! Yes- we see you, pickers 😉

Since appointments are cancelled for the foreseeable future we have your back! We have made up emergency soak off kits for our awesome clients. These kits will be FREE of charge and won’t require any human interaction.

On Saturday, March 21st, we will have a table set up in our first floor lobby filled with removal kits- all the essentials you’ll need to soak your gel off at home. Professional grade remover, foils and pads, a nail file, and an orange wood stick to push gel off.

You’ll want to do simply what we’ve done on you dozens of times- it’ll be a little more work but your nails will thank you. File topcoat layer, soak pad in remover, and wrap. If possible, add heat to help speed up the process (I.e. heating pads or microwavable mitts). Let sit for 10-15 minutes and use the orange wood stick to push gel off.

THE TABLE WILL BE SET UP FROM 12p-3p ON MARCH 21st IN OUR FIRST FLOOR LOBBY

Out of respect for fellow clients, please limit yourselves to one kit. If you are not a client.. you should be 😉 but there are a limited amount of kits so please do not take one if you’re not an existing SP client.

Hi Stay Polished beauties! We just wanted to take a minute to reach out and briefly address what we’re doing in regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

At Stay Polished, we take health and sanitation very seriously and have always maintained thorough cleaning regimens. We hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to cleanliness and will continue to do so, with added precautions.

We ask that if you are not feeling well to please reschedule in consideration of yourself, technician, and fellow clients. With that said, if any of us are feeling unwell we will be sure to stay home as well.

Guys, please please please do your research when it comes to ANY type of nail enhancement!

The first picture is a caption written by a licensed nail technician and is FILLED with MISINFORMATION. The very first sentence is misleading. Acrylic and dip nails are NOT types of polish. They are nail enhancements- they don’t go on like polish, aren’t removed like polish, and don’t perform like a polish!

Dip powder is not at all the best regarded enhancement in the nail industry. The marketing for dip powder is filled with misleading information such as “containing vitamins”, “healthy for your nails”, and “gel”. The bottom line is that DIP NAILS ARE ACRYLIC NAILS. You are still putting acrylic powder on your nails- but you’re dipping them in it instead of it being applied with a brush.

Dip powder does not contain a substantial enough amount of ANY vitamins for it to be beneficial for you. You’re sharing a common container with hundreds of other clients- and who knows what is on their hands!

There are more cautious ways for dip to be LESS dangerous, but it is by far NOT the healthiest enhancement for your nails. In most brands of dip powder, the MAIN INGREDIENT in the bonding agent put onto your nails is the SAME main ingredient as SUPER GLUE.

In the second post, you can see someone with FUNGUS being dipped into a container of powder. You then see, in the third post, someone with open skin being dipped into powder. These are both INCREDIBLY RISKY and a recipe for DISASTER!
