A lot of terrarium builders show the front/outside facing appearance of their moss wall builds but dont show what the back looks like. Its not very exciting, just looks like dirt! 🪴 good to keep in mind if you plan to use something like this as a table display

I have been collecting different types of animal specimens to create framed artwork with. I typically source my specimens from friends, on hikes, or in other random places.

I got this snake shed from a friend and gave it a zig zag pattern because it reminded me of the old game snake 🐍

Hi!!! I will be hosting a terrarium building workshop on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at Eighty-Three Brewery in Akron! This is a cool opportunity to create a self sustaining garden in a jar and learn about bioactive ecosystems.

The falafel wrap and chicken rice bowls are insanely flavorful, hands down some of the best food i've ever had!

😵‍💫😵‍💫 I've attended dozens of events this year with my artwork and this is the first time ive been asked if my art is AI. I was caught off guard since I've never used ai in any of my work and I do not condone its use in creative spaces at all.

Every single one of my products is created/designed by me and me only. My artwork, magnets, pins, stickers, buttons, flyers, terrarium/plant care guides, website, emails, articles, blog posts, etc do NOT involve any ai or ai assistance whatsoever. 🚫AI

Thank you to Talk Hermie to Me for your beautiful baby snails! You did a wonderful job breeding and caring for them and Im so happy to have them in their new home. 🐌 🐠 🩵

I have cycled this small aquarium and worked on transferring them into their new enclosure. I did this by slowly adding the established aquarium water into their holding container over the course of an hour or two, then gently scooped them up and added each one to their new tank.

I am working on setting up a 10 gallon tank for them, and i would like to add plants as well. Stay tuned to see the progress. 🪴 🐠

I like using rainwater to mist my terrariums but sometimes they grow algae and it can clog the spray bottles. I was just trying to peacefully mist the terrarium the other day, sorry mr. snail!! 🐌

Mistakes happen!! I am always happy to do a rejuvenation in the case something goes wrong with a terrarium you purchase from me. I am also always happy to give advice on care and maintenance so you are never left to fend for yourself

Too much water can suffocate a terrarium and the plants inside (causing root rot) and even opening the lid to allow for evaporation wont fix the problem. It's best to avoid the issue all together if you can

I've added terrarium care instructions to my website (Hanasplantplace.com) so you can always have access to them even if you lose the physical copy of your care guide!! 🐌💕

I am also working on adding additional information about building terrariums, the things i've learned along the way, substrate mixes, common creatures, and more! Feel free to check it out :)
