Kevin Nichols is a hyper-realism pencil artist working primarily in graphite, known for highly detailed drawings inspired by film, pop culture, and iconic characters. Through his studio brand Bearded Artist, Kevin creates large-scale pencil drawings, mashups, and custom commissioned artwork that explore storytelling, symbolism, and emotional intensity. His work focuses on patience, contrast, and obsessive attention to detail — building images layer by layer using traditional drawing techniques. Kevin’s wife Dana, who lives with Huntington’s Disease, remains a powerful source of perspective and motivation in his life and work. Original drawings, prints, and commissioned artwork are available through Bearded Artist.
