It’s been fun to work with .bryanroig to create a series of videos documenting my art practice. In this teaser I am discussing my October 2021 show, GOOD JUJU at the Reston Art Gallery. We were recovering from the effects of COVID as a community. And I wanted to share how I was working through loss of smell and taste through my art.

Yesterday was a first! I was honored to teach a Mixed Media Workshop to a group of Potters!

Thank you to for the idea! Vases and vessels were our inspiration and as you can see, they did it! We worked on 9x12 wooden cradle boards, adding our own painted papers hand painted cardboard and drawing mediums.I think it might be my turn to take a pottery class soon!

April is Earth month (April 22nd, 2026)
Sharing “Paper Chair” which incorporates packaging as well as upcycled cardboard from boxes.
It’s good to recycle, reuse and reduce waste. And it’s even more fun to be challenged creatively turning “trash” into treasure.
“Paper Chair” was a part of my last solo show, “The Poetry of Everyday Things” and is now a part of my show and would be a wonderful conversation piece in any home or venue. “Paper Chair,” 16”x46” framed on wooden cradle board with upcycled and hand painted papers, acrylics.

“Paper Flowers” has a new home in the Florida Keys!

This owner came into and found a piece that she loved.

It was easy to pack and ship the work and now it’s hanging in a new sunny locale!
Next time I might have to personally deliver the work!

Spring refresh!
Added new work to my gallery space -Flowers are blooming both outside and in-with plenty of painted paper vases bursting with florals. The vibrant colors and cool textures from upcycled papers and cardboard packaging create dimensional compositions. All work is created on wood and framed with hand crafted frames.
