That's a wrap!

It's hard to believe the 2026 Youth Rodeo season is over already!

We want to give a HUGE shout out to each and every contestant that attended a youth rodeo this summer! Whether you took home a buckle or learned a tough lesson in the dirt, you showed up, gave it your all, and cheered each other on. Rodeo really is the most amazing sport to be apart of!

To our judges—thank you for your sharp eye, fairness, and commitment to keeping our events safe and competitive. We really do have some of the best!

To our volunteers—thank you for working the gates, running the chutes, keeping time, setting barrels & poles. We greatly appreciate each and every one of you!

Adam & Michelle DePew and Jesse & Callie Goines— you guys are our rock! We wouldn't be able to have this successful rodeo series without your support year round. Thank you just doesn't seem like it's enough, we are so grateful to have you each of you!

Anthony & Kristi Sweeney— Cowboy church was heart felt and touching every single Sunday and we couldn't of asked for a more perfect service for our rodeo families. We thank you immensely for your time and commitment!

Erin Page— Thank you for keeping the energy high and giving every single competitor their moment to shine. You make those long rodeo days in the announcer stand something to look forward to!

Ben Clements— thank you for opening up your home to us and ensuring Wildfire Ranch is top-notch! Your arena gives our youth riders the perfect place to compete, build confidence, and show off their hard work. We appreciate everything you do!

‼️Finals Weekend‼️

Get those entries in!! Please remember finals weekend will be point and a half.

🔹 Mutton Bustin sign ups will be at check in Friday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

🔹 Contestants will pick up their Youth Rodeo t-shirts at check in. Please wear them Sunday morning for a group photo before the start of the rodeo. Contestants are allowed to rodeo in their 2026 t-shirt Sunday if they choose.

🔹 Check in will be Friday evening 7-9pm, Saturday morning and Sunday morning 7-8am. ❗️PLEASE❗️ check in on time, we will have a lot going on this weekend and will want to start on time.

🔹 Awards will be about 1 hour following Sundays rodeo. Contestants will need to be in western attire for awards. We will have pizza for everyone to enjoy before we get started.

Just a few small announcements going into a busy next few weeks!

-We will no longer be allowing tie-lines at any events. Unfortunately, they kill the trees, and we want to do everything possible to preserve the wonderful shade! Pens are still more than welcome as long as they do not block an electric site.

-We will have three golf carts available to rent for events for $100/weekend. Text to reserve.

-Stall Reservations for the Wildfire Little Britches Rodeo Association in September are now open on OpenStalls.com! Remember that RV spots by the pond are also reservable, but the ones up by the arena are FCFS.

-Pre-entries for the End of Summer Bash will open on Rodeo Results the Monday before the race.

I have also had a handful of people reach out asking where to find contestant points on Saddlebook. I will list the steps to find points below.

Once you are logged into Saddlebook follow these steps.
Saddledash > Associations > Youth Rodeo at Wildfire Ranch. Click on the 3 lines in the top right > Member > Leaderboard. All event and All Around Points are found here. In order to see a specific event or age group, click on the event from the list across the top. Please reach out if you need any further assistance.
