I cannot even begin to fully express my love for planners. In any given year, I use at least three for organizing different parts of my life. This year, my count is five!
By some lucky happenstance, I managed to snag one of Happy Planner's Gilmore Girls Be Happy Boxes, and it is truly fantastic! I ooh'd and aah'd over all the beautiful pieces as I dove into my box. Friends, if you are a planner nut like me, the Be Happy Boxes are so worth it!
Receiving it was not without its incidence as FedEx lost my original on the way to my eager hands. I have to give a very heartfelt thank you to Steven at The Happy Planner customer service for handling my broken little heart and easing my excruciating disappointment by finding me a reserve box and rushing it out to me. Best customer service ever! Happy Planner® you have always filled my heart with planning glee, but you have also earned a lifelong customer with your excellent customer service. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Even more new listings for learning a new craft or as beautiful junk journal fodder! I used to cross stitch a lot. It was the first craft I ever learned. Unfortunately, time has taken its toll on my hands, and it takes me ages to complete even simple patterns, but I love the beauty of using simple stitches to make something pretty. It's therapeutic, slow-stitch, and so much fun.

So, it's been a hot second since I've posted anything on IG, and I figured a little update was in order.

I've been MIA due to recovery from a car accident in which I got whiplash. It's been an interesting path to navigate, and I'm finally starting to function better. I hope to continue to make gains in recovery, even if they are small at times, and get back to what I love--making journals! Speaking of making journals, I was able to finish the beautiful custom journals I've been working on for a special customer for the last four months, at last! I hope she loves them, and I am so appreciative of her patience and kind words as I've been working on them as much as I have been able to in recovery. They have squishy covers and a child-like whismy that was wonderful for my mental health while healing. I will be making a few more in the coming weeks and will post my progress now that I'm back to nearly full capacity. Thank you so much for hanging around while I wasn't posting! ❤️
