We're one week out from the Twilight Show! It's produced by , hosted at The Mountain Room in Seattle, 1/8 at 8 PM. We're raising funds for the Quileute tribe to relocate from a flood zone. They were featured in the books/movies and never compensated by the author/franchise. Oh, and there will be a costume contest! Come dressed up as your favorite and/or most hated character!

I've always been one to watch Twilight ironically and I'm super excited to get silly (and informative?) with my Edward act. It comes with a flip chart!

Here's a craft project I was very proud of! I sewed/rhinestoned the leaves and painted the peaches with acrylic pain/textile medium for my Peaches performance. The leaves on the peaches swing freely like "assels"!

"Don't you come near me or my trans shark son again!"

It was so fun and cathartic doing this performance! Like many other trans and gender nonconforming folks, I have absolutely had it up to here with all the transphobic attitudes and policies circulating throughout the US and the world at large. We just want to live, have access to the healthcare we need, and be safe.

Big thanks to Brynn for chasing me around with a blow up terf doll! 😂 The things I ask of my friends sometimes...

It doesn't get much better than being a weird little freak in an alien suit! I think I like the perceived anonymity of being fully covered in a costume like this while also dancing around like a crazy person.

It's also a fun nod to the long association between q***rness and monsters since the beginning of the horror genre. Dracula? Very q***r coded and written by Bram Stoker, who was most likely q***r. Frankenstein's author Mary Shelley was bi.

Throughout the years, so many monsters and villains have been q***r coded. It's empowering to turn the demonization on its head and embrace being the "monster". Yes, I am the person that my younger self would have been terrified of becoming. But I'm proud of it!
