In light of domestic violence awareness month, and the year anniversary from when I ended my last abusive relationship, I wanted to share my own stories. One, because I never really got to and the only person I shared my stories with ended up weaponizing them against me adding more. Two, because I know some of you look at me and my ferocious attitude and think I’m untouchable as if I’m any less the average woman who has unspeakable horrors that play through their memories. These aren’t even close to all the moments I have recorded in my phone, but they’re the ones I wanted to share first, maybe period. This goes in order in reverse, from 2025 all the way back to 2021.
You all get this artistic side of me because it’s my cope, but I have had to pick up the broken shards of my own soul over and over and over again. But let’s not forget the person BTS of all these cool shots and fun performances.
KRAUZER I want to publicly thank you for forcing me to go to the police because I wouldn’t have left if you didn’t. I wouldn’t have had the courage to leave the second time either.
I won’t go into every story in here because there simply isn’t enough space, so I will break them down over posts as I want because this is MY story, it’s my page, and it’s my moment to be heard.
My mom was my first abuser. She was violent, hateful, spiteful, and manipulative unlike anyone I’ve ever seen. She was one of those “hit you with whatever she can find up close” parents. I don’t blame her for what my 20’s unfolded into, but for a long time while I felt trapped, I did wish I had a mom that I could trust to help guide me towards a better life. But she never did because she spent my entire life competing with and sabotaging me.
I went into high school knowing was violence looks like, knowing what the women in my family went through. I prided myself on only liking good guys. The nice and kind ones who wouldn’t hurt a fly. Not the sexist ones who make degrading jokes and sexualize women’s bodies. I thought I chose a good man. My family thought I chose a good man. But wolves wear sheep clothing sometimes and that’s the part that a lot of you don’t want to hear. (Part one concluded)
