There’s a 100% chance of awesome at today’s Main Street Fair! Gather your crew and get ready for a day of fun in the The Main-Dempster Mile . With three stages of music, 100+ local vendors, a dozen food choices, roving street performers, interactive experiences, and SO MUCH MORE, the fair is a true community celebration.

Important info:
✨Gates open at 11am, and the fair runs until 9pm
✨Main entrance is at Main Street & Chicago Ave
✨Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome
✨Chairs are encouraged if you want to sit!
✨Parking is limited, consider walking, biking, or taking the train!

With three stages of live music, tomorrow’s Main Street Fair will have you dancing in the streets all day long! Curated by Shorefront , Evanston Latinos , & Evanston ASPA (Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islander American) , the Main Stage is a dazzling showcase of local talent! It’s a musical medley of genres, featuring seven incredible and engaging performances. Seating is limited, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs! Get ready to get your groove on at the Main Street Fair!

ArtMakersOutpost will be hosting several youth areas for all ages to explore, including the Outpost youth marketplace, teen tent and art tent at Eiden Park. Swing by the Evanston Community Cares tent to learn about the upcoming food drives and community care activations on Custer right next to Loulou Arnold Thome for fun button making! If you bring non-perishables or essential items to the Evanston Community Cares Tent you will receive a golden token valued at $1 to use at the Hive Book Sale!!!! Led by executive director Michael Allen, this interactive community activation introduces participants to one of Chicago’s most celebrated cultural traditions through music, movement, and connection. More than a dance lesson, this experience celebrates the rich legacy of Black social dance and its power to bring people together across generations, backgrounds, and experiences. Performer spotlight! The Main Street Fair will close out with a spectacular finale by Bhangra-reggae-bolly-funk band , one of the area’s most coveted world music ensembles. For over 30 years, this award-winning group has been wowing crowds with their blend of Indian bhangra, Bollywood & folk with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves. Funkadesi personifies inclusive joy, and delivers a virtuoso high energy musical experience. Catch their set at 7pm on the Main Stage, and feel the power of music and community!
