Amazingrace remains legendary among both performers and audience members as an extraordinary space where magical moments were the rule rather than the exception. Over the past three decades Amazingrace has continued to present the occasional show and reunion celebrations.

Greetings, 'Gracie Universe! We are happy to announce that The Amazingrace T-Shirt Shop Is Open Again!

Over the past decade our stock of commemorative t-shirts from the 2011 Amazingrace Reunion have become pretty washed out. Yes, we love them -- but it would be nice to replenish our own stock and maybe even gift a few kids or grandkids with new ones.

Luckily, it didn't take too much to resurrect the shop, and we're pleased to report that it is up and "active" again for any of you who want to take advantage.

On this date in 1974 guitarist John Fahey and multi-instrumentalist Kenneth Bloom played at Amazingrace Coffeehouse in Shanley Hall. In 1975 it was Doc & Merle Watson and Dave MacKenzie at The Main; in 1977 it was Peter Lang at The Main.

Last Call for the incredible exhibit "Amazingrace Collective: A Countercultural Legacy" at Northwestern University Library. It closes December 30, 2011. Kudos again to Curator-Archivist Allen Streicker. If you go, please do check to make sure he's wearing that Amazingrace t-shirt---he's not supposed to be taking it off until the show comes down ....
