🏆 My “Freeze, Earthling!” build was the winning MOC in this year’s LEGO Masters challenge for our local LUG.

I’m still surprised,as my competitors (who are also my friends) are all equally talented builders.

Wow!!!! I posted my Luxo in a Microscale group about an hour ago. It had almost 100 likes. Then someone mansplained that it wasn’t “technically” microscale. He said “put a minifig next to it”. 👀

I was gonna ignore it but you know me.
So I took this photo and was gonna add a caption, “you’re right, looks like I made it too small.” 😈

But apparently they deleted my post already. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s another entry from last year’s local LEGO Masters competition. The theme for this round was NPU, which means “nice parts usage”. In geek speak it means you used a LEGO part in an interesting or unusual way.

If you look closely, my dragonfly has steering wheels for eyes, flex tubing for legs, tires for striping , and a dumpling for a nose.

My “Texas-Sized Trouble” was picked as the winning entry for the first round of our local LEGOMasters competition. 😅🏆

The challenge was “brick built weather” with a size limit of 16 x 16 x 16. Being from the Midwest (Illinois), a tornado was the first idea that popped into my head.
