Hi Everyone, I have been recovering from double knee replacement surgery and so I have not posted in quite a while. My recovery is going really well. Hi Everyone, This is Mt. Meeker at 13,911' and it is the second highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. I captured this view a few weeks ago after a snow storm. It is a popular mountain for hiking, climbing and mountaineering.

Hi Everyone, About 4 weeks ago, we had a wet and heavy snow storm. The trees were beautiful and I got out and found this artistically shaped aspen tree. Don't you just love it? I do.

Hi Everyone, Another edit from Arches National Park. This very old, one room cabin (Wolfe Ranch) was found on the trail leading to Delicate Arch. It was built in 1906 and measured 17' x 15'.

We were in Moab 2 weeks ago and hiked in Arches National Park and Canyonlands. This photo is of Landscape Arch in Arches National Park. It has a span of 306 ft and it has the longest span of any arch in North America. The beautiful blue sky highlights it so well. Enjoy...Diane

H Everyone, Last week, I went for a walk around Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a beautiful sunny day. When I walked out onto the ice, my eye caught this view of Hallett Peak standing tall between the trees. It took my breath away and so I took several pictures of it. Hi Everyone, I have been having fun taking intimate landscape photos. They are small views of a larger view. I needed a little change but will continue to take macro flower photos, too.
I took this one at Lily Lake in RMNP. At first, the log intrigued me, then I noticed the flowers; and voila, the photo was taken.

Hi Everyone,
My husband and I have been taking walks around the lakes in RMNP in the evening. When we went to Sprague Lake, I heard water rushing under this little bridge we had just walked over and so I walked onto another trail right after the bridge and found this little waterfall that stole my heart. It was perfect for taking an "intimate landscape photo". I love how creamy the water looks and hope that you do, too. Enjoy and have a GREAT week...Diane

A shot of one of my favorite places to hike in Glen Haven, CO only 30 minutes from my house. This spot is special for me as we first hiked this trail in 1994. The mountain you see to the left is Signal Mtn which is part of the Comanche Peak Wilderness Area. Enjoy and have a good week...Diane
