Almost 11 months after recording the song, once I had just begun to heal—physically and emotionally, I found my way back to it and started working on the video.

The moment I first heard the composition, I couldn’t stop myself from grooving to it, I instantly knew it deserved something special and I immediately thought of

A special thanks to her for helping shape the vision of this video. most of our calls happened very late at night, after Inu went to bed 🤍

Around that same time, my parents were planning to visit for Inu’s first birthday, it felt like the perfect opportunity to finally shoot the video while they could take care of her. I had very little time to plan and pull everything together, but somehow it all came together.

I asked my sister-in-law .zi , who has a beautiful jewelry collection, to send a few pieces with my mom. I ordered and asked mom to stitch the outfit from India, and my mom brought it with her .
She also draped it for me, just like she always has🌼

Life got busy with Inu, work, and everything in between, but we were determined to pick this up again and finally it’s done.

A huge shout out to , a new dad, my biggest support, and my teammate — for standing by me, juggling everything, yet staying up through late nights editing, with so much heart to make this happen.

This video is a complete home production, brought to life with so much love 🤍 I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who poured into it so selflessly.

Releasing this very special piece on my mom’s birthday. She has been the most excited and waited so patiently for it.

One of the very last things I did before stepping into motherhood was record this song.

During the last trimester of my pregnancy, when singing wasn’t easy anymore, I still felt a strong urge to record. It was difficult but in a way, it became the very first bedroom recording my daughter experienced before she was even born.

A huge thanks to Dev Pandey for writing this beautiful song, to for composing it so wonderfully, and to for the amazing music.

And now this song is finally ready to be shared with you.

The video was filmed after Inu was born. That story deserves its own post!!
