THROWBACK THURSDAY: In honor of the Escanaba City Band playing at this week's UP State Fair this past Tuesday, here is a photo of the Escanaba Municipal Band, who performed at the second U.P. State Fair in 1929.

We were wet but the downpour stopped, so the band played on. Having fun at the U.P. State Fair on the Downtown Stage by the grandstands.
