Today I posting something I never do—a picture of myself with a quilt lol. I just wanted you to see the size of this quilt (I’m 5’4”).
This T-shirt quilt was made for a young man graduating from high school and used shirts from his childhood up through high school—along with a few other items from his childhood. This type of quilt requires lots of math (and a spreadsheet and lots of graph paper) and is one of my favorite types to make.

Rebecca had all her college shirts plus a special shirt that was her daddy’s. A great way to keep those memories ❤️

This pillow was made using neckties. It was for a baby so I used Minky fabric for the back.

These two quilts were made for a sweet set of twin young ladies using their annual birthday shirts. Love the way they’re alike but a little bit different too!

**Friday Favorite**
This was a new concept for me—I used 8 different tshirts to create two 18” square pillows. Even though most of the graphic is lost in the small pieces, there is just enough to trigger the happy memories of the loved one.
** I stay booked out 5-6 months but feel free to message me to be added to my waitlist.**

These 3 memory quilts were made using clothing of a young lady for her mom and her siblings. These used different types of clothing so I arranged them in a mosaic style. I hope these quilts will give them comfort as they remember their sweet loved one. Thank you for letting me make these for you, Stephanie!

This memory quilt used a variety of fabrics—shirts, jeans, and a necktie. The blocks are smaller 8” squares. I think it’s a beautiful reminder of a son for his sweet mama.
It’s such a blessing for me to be able to create these memorial items for my customers ❤️🙏🏻✝️

There’s a great story behind these 5 small quilts. My friends, David and Judy Humphries, are missionaries and were serving in Africa (Liberia and Sierra Leone). One day they were traveling out in ‘the bush’ on a dirt road. They came around a bend in the road and saw these quilt tops strung on a line between the trees and a lean-to roadside stand. Judy bought all 5 and brought them to me to finish for her. I didn’t take a picture of the backs but I tried to find fabric that complimented the fabrics used in the front. Judy says that these fabrics are used in the native dress of the African people. I don’t tell the story quite as well as Judy (and I hope I didn’t mess it up😁) but I thought it was so interesting and wanted to share!

This quilt is a new design that’s available for memory quilts. Based after the old ‘Crazy Quilt’ design, this quilt reminds me of something my granny would have made. This quilt used clothing from my customer’s mom, grandmother, and even some of her children’s clothing.
