A COWBOY’S CHRISTMAS LETTER

Dear Santa, hey it’s me again,
And I’m sendin’ you my list.

Now lookin’ back on last year’s copy,
I’m sure there ain’t a thing I missed.

I’d like a pair of silver mounted spurs,
With jingle bobs and chains.

An old Garcia spade bit,
And a set of rawhide reins.

A rope with all the misses out,
And a saddle that don’t leak.

And if there’s any cowboy in ‘ya sir,
You’ll know of what I speak.

Now I know that like in years before ,
This list will be denied .

But it was worth the price of postage ,
You can’t say I never tried .

Now Santa, there’s just one more thing,
I’d like to ask of you.

That’s to send my friends and family,
All the blessings that they’re due.

Now I know that most things on that list,
They’re really just for show.

But that last one means a lot to me,
As you and I both know.

So Santa, grant me that one wish,
‘Fore the new year comes around.

And know I’m wishin’ you safe travels,
And hope your reindeer all stay sound.
