I realize it seems early to be having this discussion, but I am trying to decide what kind of gifts to start making for Christmas and I am looking for ideas. Whoops, there's that "C" word and it's still August and we're all still sweating. 🥵🤪🤣

Christmas gifts: If you were going to order a custom gift, or ask for a gift, what would it be?

We can engrave cups, water bottles, engravings on wood (my sweet husband has even made some pretty cool boxes), cutting boards, bamboo plates, ornaments, leather sheaths, and holsters (for the custom leather, we need the specific item in question to ensure it fits properly).

When replying with ideas, please keep in mind:
Is it for a woman, a man, or a child?
If you own a business, what kind of things do you tend to want to gift your employees to show you notice them, know what they sacrifice to help your business be successful, and that you appreciate them?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! People are watching and waiting your responses as they're trying to make this decision for themselves as well. If you can find specific images of things you like, drop them in the comments. I will happily purchase files that you all think would go over well.

I transformed Mama's Hobby Lobby tree of life into a family tree. She was thrilled with the transformation.

My mama is the epitome of light and love. Our lives have forever been transformed because of her love for the risen Savior, Jesus Christ. If I can ever become half the woman she has become, I know it will be a good life.

Lessons she has taught me:
Love people unconditionally - even when you don't agree with their actions or words (even if you don't like them - the Bible says love your enemies). Lord knows I broke her heart many times, and yet she stood beside me to pick me up when I fell.

Have compassion for EVERYONE you encounter, you do not know the struggles they face. Help them when you can, when you can't, you can offer a hug and turn to the One who can help in prayer with them.

Don't be afraid to pursue the dream deep your heart. You only fail if you give up trying.

In the past she had shed tears from a broken heart each time I failed her. Now I strive to do things that make she shed tears of joy. She's going to cry either way... might as well be happy tears! 🤪🤣

I am blessed to have the godly mother I have.
Thank you Mama for everything you sacrificed, to give me the opportunity to live a better life. I am who I am because of who you are. 🤟

I made a plaque to celebrate my dad and his ministry. He trained missionaries to fly and was an author.

What a difference education, trial, and error make. It doesn't matter what you're doing, don't give up, keep pushing a long, you will figure out better ways to accomplish your daily tasks. It's taken me 3 years (yeah, I am a slow learner 🤦‍♀️), but here's the HUGE difference persistence makes.

Thank you Rockie for giving me the opportunity to serve you with a couple of memorial pieces and for being patient while I learn. I pray they bless all who pass by!

Ellington 50 year high school reunion!
