The Immersive Saga — March Progress Update

Quick update on where we stand heading into March.

The headline: prose quality and continuity scores are at ~94%, up from 62% last month.

That's not a marketing number — that's measured across actual user generations. The AI output is dramatically better than it was even four weeks ago.

Here's what we've been working on:

Prose Quality Engine Overhaul
We rebuilt core parts of the generation pipeline. New sentence discipline systems enforce tight, readable prose at every stage — no more run-on sentences, no more adjective piling, no more AI "purple prose" spirals. We built detection systems that catch when an AI model fails mid-generation and automatically regenerate clean output. The result is consistent, publishable-quality prose from concept to final chapter.

Continuity Systems
Story bible sync, cross-chapter canon checks, and beat-level continuity validation are all significantly tighter. Your AI remembers what happened earlier in the book — character details, plot events, world facts. Series continuity across multiple books is enforced automatically.

Stability
Bugs and errors are down across the board. The most telling metric: user feedback has shifted from bug reports to feature requests. That's the signal we've been working toward.

What's Ahead

Huge updates went out last night!

Main prose model moved to Sonnet 4.6.

Constraint and continuity systems overhaul, and massive ui updates.

As we get closer launch and the perfected systems, Prices are going up to account for the increased model and token costs. We will continue to make every effort to provide the best prose quality possible while keeping the cost as low as we can

****Price changes will not effect current subscribers. Beta users who already have active subscriptions will see no difference in their monthly bill.

Do you like to listen to podcasts while you're going to sleep or when your cleaning or doing busy work?

For me especially when going to sleep i like to have some kind of background noise and my go to is usally podcasts.

My problem is that i can never find ones that I'm interested in enough and i scroll forever just like trying to decide what to watch. So i had an idea. what if i can have custom podcasts made for any subject i want,what if i could also design my own hosts and give them their own shows?

so i did another thing. I have adapted my novel making pipeline from the immersive saga, given it a detailed research and fact verification steps, and turned it into a podcast creator. You decide the topic, you decide the hosts, you decide how long the episodes are and how many seasons; the app does the research, plans the episodes, writes the scripts and turns it into audio.

After playing around with it i decided, hey, you know what else would be nice? one central hub for podcasts of all kinds. somewhere where you can find an episode about anything and if you cant find it, it makes one for you. What if we had a hub where normal people could make and post podcasts about the ideas that inspire or amaze them, with no extra equpiment, no studio time, just a few clicks.

I have the podcast maker, i have the site; now i am just working on putting the two together and deciding on the best way to present this and keep it cheap and accessible. i currently have the costs down to around 2 dollars to generate an entire 60 minute podcast from planning to posting.

My end goal is to have a platform where you can create or find a podcast, lecture, lesson, story on anything you want. Create your own page, connect your community and all while not letting big companies profit off your ideas *cough cough spotify cough cough*

the eventual goal (not set up yet) is to have most content be free with the creator having the ability to decide on a small follower subscription for deep dives , live streams or exclusive content. think youtube meets patreon without the adds. Users will have the ability to upload their own podcasts or get a subscription or one time episode purchases using the podcast maker. the prices for the podcast maker will remain low, they are only going to be paying for the actual api usage without added hidden fees or inflation.

the site is live with limited features right now (im the only one who can post and create things atm and subscriptions are not active)

I have only posted a few episodes so far but they are all free to check out and listen to. Let me know what you think and stay tuned for more!

🌍 New Feature Live: Multi-Language Support in The Immersive Saga

We’re excited to announce that The Immersive Saga now supports four languages:

English • French • German • Spanish

You can switch your language anytime in Settings, and the change applies to:

The entire app UI

All AI outputs (planning, outlining, prose, campaigns, etc.)

This feature is designed specifically for fluent speakers who want to write directly in their native language — not rely on translations.

Important note:
Language changes are not retroactive. Text you’ve already generated will remain as-is. New generations will use your selected language.

This update opens the door for authors and creators around the world to build worlds, run campaigns, and write novels in the language they actually think in.

The Biggest Error Most New AI Writers Do Without Even Realizing:

As Ai assisted writers, when most of us start out it is our goal to find that "one ai model" that does it all. That one model that remembers better and writes better prose. That one model that will stop adding Mrs. Chen to every story or change them to Mr. Chen halfway through.

And most of us would be wrong...

Ai models are generally trained to excel in one or two major areas:
1: Logic
2: Persistent memory
3: long context
4: Indexing
5: Creative thinking
6: Knowledge/ search/ research
7: Prose

Using just one of these models alone; your novels will excel in the area the model is good at, but there is nothing you can do (save paying to have a model trained and tuned for you) to get that one model to excel in all areas.

You wouldn't try to carve a sculpture with a pencil, so why use ai tools for tasks they are not meant for.

THE SOLUTION!

Multi stage multi pass generation.
for stages like discovery, character creation, outlines, beat drafts. Use models with good creative reasoning and strong context windows. (gpt 5 mini is particularly good at this)

Now that you have your creative base, you want a fast indexing model to be able to keep track of this info. I like to use either gpt-4o or gpt-4.1. create a knowledge bank for this model to pull from and have it be your information courier; finding and delivering the correct information to the model in the next step.

Once you have a system set up like this, its just a matter of testing and fine tuning your prompts and continuity guards.

For prose i like to use Mistral for drafting and Claude sonnet or haiku for prose generation and polish pass. At this stage you want your "courier" model to be the one creating the prompts and sending the information to your prose model to have it start generating. you have already giving it the foundational information it needs and your courier model provides the context and "what are we doing" to your prose model.
