Barak Hill is a singer-songwriter from Springfield, Missouri. Barak’s songs and sound run in the same vein as Amos Lee, Josh Ritter, Steve Earle, and Gillian Welch. It’s heartbroken Americana hanging on to a fistful of hope that things might just get better. Honest, well-crafted lyrics set to strong melodies connect with people on an intimate, personal level. - Hickory Ridge Concerts

Come join members of The Historic Ellisville Restoration Organization (HERO) and local artist, Julie Wasson, on Tuesday, August 25, at the Donaldson Community Center in Canton, for the unveiling of her two Spoon River Mussel murals. One of which will be placed on HERO property in Ellisville. We are excited to see how they turned out!

Come and join us for the grand unveiling of this truly exciting project. I have been involved with this event for the past 8 months creating 2 of the mussel shells that will be part of the Trail. The shells will be placed around the county in 10 different locations telling stories of our county and the Spoon River.
