American Gotland Sheep Society held a special fleece show with the Black Sheep Gathering in Oregon this past weekend. Wind Dance Ranch Gotlands made a wonderful showing!
Yearling Gotland Ewe fleeces awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd place with 1st place fleece going on to win the Ewe Fleece Champion and Overall Grand Champion AGSS Gotland Fleece.
Also awarded Reserve Champion "Breeder Pair of Fleeces Class" and placings in multiple other fleece classes.

Thanks to my fiber tribe was able to be "two places @ once" last weekend. Unable to attend Fiber Fusion but Wind Dance Ranch fleeces made a showing....Gotland 1st & 2nd- Res Champion for Division. BFL 1st-4th and Grand Champion Division . Border Leicester 1st-4th Grand Champion & Best in Show!! Thank you "Tribe"!!

So very happy with this years Wind Dance Ranch lamb crop..so hard to pick the keepers from this years amazing group.

Gotlands were the Featured Breed at Fiber Fusion this year....I can not tell you how much I coveted one of these amazing award banners created by Amy Wolf 💕💕 the competition was mind blowing, over 60 fleeces in the Gotland divisions ....to be awarded Reserve Champion purebred, Reserve Champion Recorded, and most of all-Top 5 Champion as a breeder was overwhelming...thanks is just not enough to all that made this happen.

Wind Dance Ranch-Blue Faced Leisesters not to be out done at Fiber Fusion Northwest, another Breed class sweep 1st thru 4th with the 1st place/champion fleece earning Grand Champion fine wool....
Other Breed White class was huge this year and we were awarded Reserve Champion with an amazing BLxBFL hand spinning fleece.

Wonderful weekend at Fiber Fusion Northwest this past...Wind Dance Ranch Border Leicesters awarded a "class breed sweep" -1st thru 4th place in a large class earning Grand Champion. Love my Borders!!

Busy busy weekend, but a highlight was "Fae"- Gotland yearling heading to a wonderful 4H career with Jaxon Dewey! Looking forward to thier adventures!

Where did September go, wow! Three fleece shows, and a dog trial....whew.
Border Leicester fleeces showed well at Kittitas County, Evergreen State Fair, and The Puyallup Fair..bringing home 1st NC Border Leicester, 1st and 2nd places Border Leicester , at all three Fairs, as well as Champion white fleece, Res.Champion NC Fleece.
