Snow hits the old home place

Over 10 years ago we had an idea to create a community where one could feel free to explore new musical experiences and build family relationships. As our event grew we moved to an area in West Virginia that we all can say was magical. It became not just another music festival but a family reunion for friends, musicians, staff members, and volunteers.

We feel that we have met and exceeded our expectations on what we set out to do in the beginning. It wasn't the easiest thing to do nor was every decision made the correct one but we wouldn't have done it any other way.

It is now time for us to move on to other adventures to help spread the love of music and community. Camp Barefoot will be taking an indefinite hiatus. Even though Camp Barefoot Music Festival will not be happening this August it doesn't mean the Camp Barefoot vibe won't be flowing in all the events and gatherings around the country.
