This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to write.
For the past several months, I’ve done everything Facebook has asked me to do to correct an error on my page. I’ve submitted appeals, provided documentation, and spoken with Meta support more times than I can count. I was finally told that my page was originally reported for impersonating a celebrity, which caused Facebook’s automated AI system to permanently flag my page for impersonation.
The frustrating part is that Meta has also told me they know I’m not impersonating anyone. Unfortunately, they also told me they don’t have the ability to manually remove the “Non-Recommendation” flag because it was created by their AI system. They explained that it can only be removed if the AI decides to remove it, and they couldn’t tell me if that will ever happen.
I’ll be honest… I’ve shed more than a few tears over this. I’ve poured my heart into building this page and sharing my handmade creations with all of you. It’s heartbreaking to know that something completely untrue has affected the page I’ve worked so hard to grow.
But at the end of the day, it’s just Facebook, and I can’t let this stop me from doing what I love.
So, I’ve made the difficult decision to start over with a brand-new page. I would be incredibly grateful if you would follow me there so we can stay connected. Your support, encouragement, comments, and shares have meant the world to me, and I hope you’ll continue this journey with me on my new page.
I will no longer be posting on this page. Everything new will be shared on my new page, and I truly hope to see you there.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me, supporting my small business, and reminding me that this community is so much bigger than one page. ❤️
