Over this past weekend - procured a piece of S2 history. This crate motor was rebuilt in 1995 by Tom Andresen. Tom previously worked for Rick Prather | Prather Racing | TIGA importer along with Dennis Eade who later started Comprep. All three are legends to the US Sports 2000 racing development.
The motor belonged to John Cahill who was one of the “Founding Five” that purchased and homologated S2 cars in the SCCA in the late 70’s.
The motor has sat in its crate since that time. It will be rebuilt and used in the SC80 restoration over this winter.
