Yes!!!! August 29th!!!

One of my favorite things about Play Music on the Porch Day is that it reminds us how simple connection can be.

You don’t need a stage. You don’t need to be a “professional.” You don’t even need a porch.

This day has never been about perfection. It’s about participation.

Just play music somewhere people can hear it. Front yards, sidewalks, driveways, parks, garages, apartment stoops, street corners. It all counts. Whether you know three chords or three hundred songs, you belong here.

Every year, people in countries all over the world step outside and make music for no reason other than to share a little joy with their community. That’s the whole idea.

If you’ve ever thought about participating, this is your sign. Grab a guitar, a ukulele, a drum, a fiddle, a kazoo, or just your voice and join us.

And please help spread the word. Invite friends, share this post, tell local musicians, schools, neighbors, and anyone who could use a little more music in their life.

Our annual show, “Waterscapes”, features landscapes with the cooling imagery of water in nature. All mediums are welcome for this curated show, including 2D and 3D (sculptural) works. The show will run June-August, with an opening reception on June 6th during Art After Dark. We welcome artists from all over Texas and beyond to show in our gallery.
