What is Dance Marathon? Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a movement of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals. They are the only children’s charity committed to having 100% of the funds raised stay local to support local kids. Since it's inception, Miracle Network Dance Marathon has raised more than $13
5 million for kids across North America- ensuring that no child or family fights pediatric illness or injury alone. Why was BronchoThon created? BronchoThon was created in 2016 to engage the Broncho community in generating awareness and financial support for the Oklahoma Children's Hospital Foundation. The CHF is the only non-profit organization in Oklahoma whose sole focus is the advancement of pediatric research and education programs to improve the health of children. Since their creation in 1983, Children’s Hospital Foundation has raised and leveraged matching funds to create more than $109 million for pediatric research and education programs. How does BronchoThon work? Throughout the academic year, students, faculty, and staff will participate in fundraising and awareness events. The finale event, BronchoThon, will be held in April. The 8-hour marathon will include musical entertainment, student-led activities, refreshments, and a heavy dose of *FUN*. We look forward to beginning a great tradition here at Central! Students can join our "Big Committee", which allows students to serve on a number of committees responsible for making BronchoThon a reality. Committees cover a wide range of responsibilities, from fundraising to entertainment to recruiting dancer. Click HERE to submit an interest form.
