💙 In Loving Memory of Mrs. Denise Pineda 💙

The Canterbury Elementary PTO would like to honor and remember a very special member of our Canterbury family, Mrs. Denise Pineda.

Mrs. Pineda was one of those people who truly helped make Canterbury what it is. Her joyful spirit, unmistakable laugh, kindness, and love for our students filled the halls of our school. She was always willing to lend a hand, support our PTO, encourage our children, and greet families with a smile.

Her impact reached far beyond her classroom. She touched the lives of so many students, families, teachers, and staff members, and we are incredibly grateful for the years of love and dedication she gave to Canterbury.

Our hearts and prayers remain with Mrs. Pineda’s family, friends, students, colleagues, and everyone in our Canterbury community who loved her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love, laughter, and memories she gave us will remain a part of Canterbury for years to come. 💙

Canterbury families, we are closely monitoring Thursday’s weather forecast for Spring Festival. At this time, the event is still ON as planned. 🌟

To help avoid muddy conditions, we have moved the event setup from the field area to the pavement area. Please see the updated event layout map below.

Big THANK YOU to our amazing cafeteria team for keeping our Canterbury Knights fed and happy every day—you are truly our heroes! 💙

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to the one and only Mrs. De Leon! 💙👑

Thank you for keeping Canterbury running smoothly, handling a million things at once, and somehow still greeting everyone with a smile. From big decisions to everyday moments—you truly do it all (and probably deserve about 3 extra cups of coffee ☕️ a day for it 😄).

Today we also have a VERY special guest in charge… please welcome our “Principal for the Day,” Dustin Gonzalez from Mrs. Olivarez’s 3rd grade class! 🎉 Dustin sold the most dozens in our Krispy Kreme fundraiser and has officially earned the title. Mrs. De Leon… we hope you’re ready to share the office and take a few notes today! 😉
