Did you know there's a search tool in your email?

I used mine today to search, "submissions," because I had a hunch I was overlooking an email-only poetry submission from some weeks ago. It's easy to lose track of where you send these (I recommend a separate submissions folder on your desktop or a spreadsheet).

Lo' and behold...

Some of you may know me as Lexi, a woman from a small suburb just outside a smaller city, who's lived what looks like a dozen lives already.

Where has it all taken me?
Throughout the city and surrounding areas with travels across the country and overseas before ending up in a small farm town.

Why has my life unfolded the way it has?
Well, I'm me. I'm a poet and a writer; my life is fulfilled through failures and reflections and I can't stay in one place for very long. Filtered perfection is not where I've ever truly wanted to go. That's why I've never made it.
