The City of Millbrook is proud to sponsor free, professional face painting by the amazing Sweet Cheeks Facepainting! Whether your child wants to transform into a spooky skeleton, a magical unicorn, or a creepy witch, we've got them covered.
📅 When: 10 AM – 2 PM
📍 Where: Village Green Park, Millbrook
Bring the whole family out for a day filled with treats, games, and community fun. Best of all, the face painting is completely free courtesy of the city!

Zoey truly is family, and we’re so excited to watch the love of face painting continue into a new generation. From cuddling with Alicia’s bulldog as a baby to now painting alongside Sweet Cheeks, this is such a special full-circle moment! 💕

Zoey has amazing artistic talent and will be joining us as a face painter, glitter tattoo artist, and character performer.

🎨 Meet Mady—one of our veteran Sweet Cheeks artists!

Mady has been painting with Sweet Cheeks for five years. She is a graduate of Elmore County High School and currently attends Huntingdon College. This is her 5th year painting with us ! Wow!

Mady has a calm, welcoming way of greeting every child—and she’s also one of our speedy painters! No long line can rattle her. She creates adorable designs while keeping the line moving, making both the children and their parents happy!

We are so lucky to have Mady as part of the Sweet Cheeks family! 💕✨

This is truly a full-circle moment: Shelby used to wait in our face-painting line when we first started at Buckmasters, and now she’s creating smiles right alongside us!

Shelby is a talented face painter and glitter tattoo artist. You may also recognize her as Bluey, Peppa Pig, Minnie Mouse, or one of our magical mermaids at events! We’re so excited to have Shelby on our team! 💕✨

🚨 PSA FROM A PROFESSIONAL FACE PAINTER 🎨 you don’t have to hire me just PLEASE use caution and check what paints your painter uses .

I truly can’t believe I have to say this AGAIN… but please DO NOT use acrylic paint on children’s faces. Especially not in this Alabama heat. 😳☀️

Acrylic paint is made for crafts and canvases — NOT skin.
When mixed with sweat, heat, and sensitive skin, it can cause:
❌ Irritation
❌ Rashes
❌ Burning/stinging
❌ Clogged pores
❌ Difficult removal that can damage skin

Professional face paints are specifically made to be:
