Thanks to all who came out in the rain this weekend to see Failure is Impossible! A special thank you to our summer intern, Claire Gannon ❂, who not only knocked it out of the park performing as Joan, but also provided valuable feedback and ideas for our upcoming shows. Have a good year at Carleton College, Claire!

We enjoyed performing Failure is Impossible at the invitation of Chippewa Valley Indivisible, a group that understands the importance of the right to vote! Thanks to Claire Gannon for her excellent guest performance. She will join us again for our shows in September at the CVTG Grand Theatre!

ECWIT actors participated in the culminating event of the Eau Claire Police Department's week-long Crisis Intervention Team training on Friday, May 1. Portraying individuals experiencing mental health crises, actors provided simulated experiences for law enforcement staff to practice strategies of de-escalation training they learned during the week. ECWIT's Ann Pearson was recognized by ECPD for her 10 years of involvement with the program. Ann was instrumental in expanding ECWIT's role in the CIT training to recruit and train actors and develop realistic scenarios.
Congratulations, Ann!
And thank you ECPD for prioritizing this important training!

ECWIT thoroughly enjoyed , which we like to think was inspired by our suffrage show, Failure is Impossible. We will be reprising our suffrage show later this year. Stay tuned! (And if you’re lucky, you might also be photobombed by a member of the cast!)
