Our small but mighty company is made up of dancers who each bring their own personality, strengths, artistry, and style to UMDC. These dancers are ready to work hard, challenge themselves, grow together, and make season 4 one to remember. We can’t wait to share their growth, their stories, and everything they bring to the stage this year.

At UMDC, we believe dance is more than what happens under stage lights. It’s one of the most honest forms of expression, a way to turn a feeling into movement, a memory into a story, and sometimes say something without ever having to find the words.

We train athletes, but we also build artists. Dancers who aren’t afraid to move differently, feel deeply, take risks, and bring something of their own to the floor. Because the most memorable dancing isn’t always about being perfect, it’s about making someone feel something.

As our small but mighty company continues to grow, we hope to keep sharing the meaning behind our name and inspiring dancers beyond our own studio to tell their stories, embrace what makes them different, and be unapologetic about the artist they are becoming.

That will always be at the heart of UMDC. Happy International Dance Day 💛🖤🤍

Thank you to our incredible 2026 Summer Intensive faculty for sharing your talent, passion, and expertise. Bringing together professionals with such diverse backgrounds, training, styles, and career experiences made this day so special, and we are beyond grateful for the time and knowledge you poured into every class.

To the dancers, thank you for showing up with open minds, positive attitudes, and a willingness to grow. Your hard work and dedication made us so proud.

Wow! Year 3: Empower The Journey is officially complete! ✨

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are. Thank you to every single person who came out to support our 3rd annual showcase. Whether you bought a ticket, made a donation, shared a post, cheered from the audience, or supported one of our dancers along the way, thank you.

The love and support we felt this weekend was incredible, and it means more to us than you know. Seeing our dancers take the stage and share their stories so confidently is exactly why UMDC was created, and none of it would be possible without the community that continues to stand behind us year after year.

To our dancers, families, staff, volunteers, alumni, and supporters, thank you for helping make this showcase so special. We are so proud of everything that was accomplished on that stage.

Now it’s time to take a deep breath, celebrate everything we achieved, and get ready for auditions and nationals!
