Back home from an inspiring and meaningful non-friggin'-winter long weekend in Brattleboro, VT, aka one of our favoritest places in the world (outside of Rhode Island [of course!])

Has a lovely time working on a quartet set with Keith Murphy and Becky Tracy, saw so many friends, experienced my first maple creemee (Lilac Ridge Farm is where it's at), and snagged some choice antiques from a few shops on the way home.

Thanks, Brattleboro Music Center and Retreat Farm for having us, and thanks to everyone who came out for the show!

The only way to end the show was with Grondeuse à Wilfred. Got it from Grace Hendrickson-Jones who is fortunately cursed to only ever play bangers.

Getting ready to record our next album, and our first one as a trio! Long time coming.

Here's a sneak peak of our take on "Deep Blue Sea", a song popularized by Pete Seeger. Our friend David Durand's wonderful brain paired the melody with adapted verses from Shakespeare's The Tempest. It slaps.

Very excited to be playing at our friends' farm this weekend in Southern RI!

An empathetic 18th century bug song about the house fly 🪰

Back in October, .friends.painting.pdx (then with ) took us on a wee after-hours trip thru the darkened water ways and couldn't not take advantage of those song-starved spaces.
