Here’s your reminder that on Halloween night, you might meet kids like mine. Kids who love Halloween but who can’t say “trick or treat.”
Kids who might not look you in the eyes.
Kids who might not say “thank you.”
Kids who might grab the candy and run, or flap with excitement, or stay tucked close behind their parent.

They’re not being rude. They’re not ungrateful.
They’re just doing their best.

So if you see a child who seems different, smile at them. Drop the candy in the bucket anyway. Include them. That moment of kindness matters more than you know.

We mourn the loss of the wonderful women who created such memories for so many and dedicate this Fourth of July to her

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Donna Grucci Butler, a beloved Grucci Family member. On the evening of June 9, 2024, she passed due to the horrible disease of Cancer. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Because of your support, we're able to answer their calls. 4,900 courageous individuals have called our 24-hour hotline seeking assistance. Often, this call is the first time someone says the words 'I need help.

The wonderful team at LIADV led by Wendy Ahmad I am so blessed to be a part of. These people are Christmas wishes come true each and everyday when there is no fancy holiday lights, celebrations, and it’s just a person, advocate, shelter, phenominal back end team that rises to the call. It’s because of them together we make a difference.
