EDGES 2013 - Fifth Annual Graduate Conference in the College of Arts and Letters

EDGES, the annua lCollege of Arts and Letters graduate conference, is nowa ccepting submissions for 2013. Graduate work on any topic (area of research) is welcome. In recognition of the College of Arts &Letters 50th anniversary, we also welcome

work that considers developments (theoretical or institutional) in the arts and letters with the last 50 years as a backdrop. The
theme for this year is language, experience, and perception. Work that speaks to the relations between language, experience, and perception in any way is welcome, but not required. Come help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of the College of Arts &Letters! Abstracts for individual papers, colloquia, posters, performances, art displays and installations can be submitted online at the conference website: http://edges.cal.msu.edu/

Program Highlights:

A full day of presentations
Keynote speaker (TBA)
Banquet at the Kellogg Center

Rewarding Experience

Participating at EDGES provides an opportunity to prepare scholarly or creative work for a public audience, and practice in the presentation of such work, both of which are signature features of academic life. The fact that the conference is interdisciplinary adds a valuable dimension, particularly in the current academic climate. We are now accepting submissions for 2013. All graduate students in the College of Arts & Letters are encouraged to submit a proposal. Graduate work on any topic (area of research) is welcome.
