If your dancer is interested in the competitive team we are already gearing up for evaluations!
Please review the evaluation schedule and fee information carefully. All evaluation fees must be paid prior to attending evaluations. No payments will be accepted at the evaluation sessions.
Evaluation fees include:
• Registration Fee: $25 for 1 dancer, $45 for 2 dancers, or $60 for 3 dancers (same household)
• Evaluation Fee: $30 per dancer
• Media Fee: $60 per family
We are excited to welcome both returning and new dancers to evaluations and can't wait to see everyone shine as we prepare for another amazing competitive season!

And that’s a wrap on the 2026, 2027 dance season!

From the chaotic dress rehearsals to the final curtain call, our staff, dancers, and volunteers absolutely crushed it. The energy on stage was electric, and it was the perfect exclamation point on an incredible season.

A massive shoutout and thank you to everyone who made it happen. We are proud, we are grateful, and honestly, we are already hyped for the 2026/2027 season.

💜 Letting Off Steam & Making Memories! ⚡️🤪
The countdown to the final show is officially ON, but we’re making sure to enjoy every single second before the curtains go up!
Sure, we’ve been rehearsing and working hard. We are also laughing, acting goofy, and letting off some serious pre-show steam together. This studio family has worked so hard all year, and these final moments in the space are all about celebrating that bond.
Before the bright lights, the stage makeup, and the big performance, we’re just soaking up the joy of dancing together in the place where it all started. 🥹✨
Dancers, thank you for making this season so unforgettable. Let’s finish strong and have the best time!

Memorial Day was celebrated as early as the 1860s following the Civil War. But it officially became a national holiday in 1971. It always falls on the last Monday of May, so the actual date changes from year to year. And while we may call it a "celebration" as we do for many holidays, it is meant to be a more somber day to honor those who have passed. At KIO we honor all those who have passed before us for our freedoms.

Senior Sunday appreciation post ~ get your tissues ready for the tears!

Where do we even begin with this incredible trio? We have had the absolute privilege of watching them grow through the years, setting the stage on fire with every single performance:

✨ “I Lived”
✨ “Pictures of Mountains”
To say that we are proud is an absolute understatement. They are wrapping up their competitive careers in the most spectacular way possible—finishing the season 1st Place Overall at four out of four competitions - with their final trio pictures of mountains 🏆✨

Saying goodbye to this amazing trio is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. We sincerely hope that their artistry, passion, and unwavering dedication inspire the future generations of the KIO dance team.

Makenna, Ruby and Sarah you will always be in our hearts 💜💚🖤 and it has been an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you for all of these years.
