Remember that table saw that I posted a while back that was in pieces? Here it is now! I transplanted the Vega fence from another saw, 3D printed a height adjustment k**b (going to make another for the arbor tilt), and built a quick and easy poplar and plywood mount for the power switch. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally finished! Next steps are getting the shop organized, throw together a piece or two of shop furniture, then make some sawdust!

My dad needed a dust collector, but the model was out of stock on Amazon for the longest time. It came in about a month before it was supposed to. I built this cart with the option for either using the dust bag or a trash can to catch the dust/chips. Shop furniture doesn’t have to be pretty, just functional 🙃

Window trim face lift! Originally there was a builder grade trim pieces put together with butt joints. It didn’t look all the appealing. It’s been replaced with something a bit more elegant. Stained maple 1x3’s with mitered corners now adorn this front bay window. Wish I had some before pictures to show how much more appealing this space has become!

Another finished project. And level! Shelves made from stones poplar with 1/2” pipe supports for the shelves. Getting the flanges screwed down was a challenge, but as you@can see, it ended up working out. Already put to good use in the kitchen!

When you tell your dad you’re in the market for a new table saw and he says that he has one you can have, but it’s in pieces 🤣
This should be fun restoring and cleaning up the behemoth of a vintage saw! The only thing I will need is a fence system. Any suggestions?

Desk made from pallet wood. My first attempt at a bigger project. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but the recipient was happy with how it turned out. It measures just about 6’ in length!
