I have been playing live music since graduating high school in several rock bands most notably Avalanche for several years. A few years ago I opted out of performing live and concentrated on writing and recording. In 2008 I opened a recording studio and production company and have been producing and recording albums for myself and others. with the help of Vintage Hardware technology and access to world class players and production software, I have recorded six solo albums of mostly original material. I have 5 of these albums being distributed and streamed worldwide from every major platform available. I am not doing this for profit, I am just enthusiastic about getting my music out there for others to enjoy. Having said that, my music is offered at Bandcamp for free streaming and downloads. Back in 2008 a few years before I retired from Law Enforcement, I got this hair brained idea that I would need something to keep me busy after retirement. I always fantasized about opening a recording studio. The only problem there is that recording studio equipment is expensive and I didn't have the resources to spend on such a notion. Don't ask me how I did it, but I suggested to Betty Ruth that she could give me some of her IRA retirement funds to get me started. Much to my surprise she said yes. So I headed down to Guitar Center in Modesto, California and ordered up the highest end gear I could afford. I converted my 3 car garage in Oakdale into a beautiful studio. I named it "Into The Light Recording Studio". Lo and behold I started to get a couple of clients. The first album I produced was for a Pastor from Riverbank who did a country Gospel CD. Turned out pretty good, not Columbia Records stuff, but OK. Then I did a live album for a Funk/Soul group. I still had not done a record for myself yet but I did want to do something special. Betty Ruth and I used to sing "More Today Than Yesterday" from Spiral Staircase to each other. So this was my first solo studio project I did featuring a horn section performed by a local popular Sax Player named Martin Martinez. So, here is "More Today Than Yesterday" from 2008.

Next on the agenda, on the heels of our latest release, "It's all About You", will be a double sided single of original songs. Target date for release will be toward the end of January. Instrumental tracks have already been written and recorded. Please stay tuned in!

Our new album has been officially released, now on Amazon, i-Tunes, Apple Music, Spotify and soon on 150 streaming platforms worldwide. Thank you all that has supported us throughout the production of this album that has been almost two years in the making. The album is marketed for digital release only, although I have a limited number of hard copies available.
