FYI, Cranberry Fest has been cancelled for this year. Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce encourages visitors to still take part in cranberry related activities this fall that will help support the local businesses. Lake Nokomis will have marsh tours, cranberries and cranberry wine tastings. Tribute Brewing will have Frostwatch cranberry beer available, Eagle River Chamber will have Craisins, souvenirs. Eagle Baking Company, Trigs, and Pick N Save will have cranberry related options, and downtown shopping will be available. Please continue to support small business in the Vilas and Oneida county areas if you are in the Northwoods whether local or visiting. Thanks!

Phelps Maple Syrup Fest, Phelps School, 4451 Old School Rd. 8am-4pm. An educational, family fun day including a tree tapping demonstration with tree identification, a tour of various local sugar bushes throughout Phelps and food/entertainment at the Phelps School. Wear weather appropriate clothing. Maple syrup and natural crafts will be available for purchase during the festivities at the Phelps School, including over 60 craft fair vendors. The Maple Cafe will have breakfast and lunch specials. Be sure to sign up for one of the fun, educational classes. Bring your homemade maple syrup to enter into the judging contest. Spaghetti Dinner and Sundae Bar, American Legion Hall, 121 Front St, Minocqua. 4pm-7pm. Spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the Hazelhurst Fire Department, Lakeland Hospice and Lakeland Food Pantry prior to Fool's Run. Spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs, salad, Italian bread, and you make ice cream sundaes. The public and all "fools" participating in the Fools Run are welcome. Only Fools Run at Midnight, Lakeland Union High School, 9573 Hwy 70 West, Minocqua. 7pm. Fools from far and near will run through the streets and trails of Minocqua starting at 11:00 pm for the 12th Annual Only Fools Run at Midnight Run/Walk…..be sure to finish before the clock strikes midnight. This 5K run/walk offers a pre race spaghetti feed at the American Legion Hall in Minocqua sponsored by the Hazelhurst Lions Club, a costume contest, fools flex warm up, post race refreshments and lots of fun! The first 500 registered are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Race day registration begins at 7pm at Lakeland Union High School along with pre-race activities. Be sure to wear your foolish costumes. Northwoods Night at the Mic Call for Auditions, hosted by Three Lakes PTO, Three Lakes High School, 6930 W School St, 4pm-7pm. Consider auditioning for the upcoming Northwoods Night at the Mic event which will be held Friday, April 20. Or, if you’re a little stage shy, plan on attending the event. Silent Mic Auction which has dozens of items including signed Packer football, Disney Tickets, American Doll, State Fair tickets, Ski Passes, Private Cooking Lesson for 6 people, local business items, and much more. Three Lakes Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Three Lakes High School. 9 am. Kids will get to put their name in for several grand prizes, as well as selecting an Easter egg to claim their Easter bag full of goodies. ArtsPower presents: Harry the Dirty Dog, 2pm. Nicolet College Theatre, 5355 College Dr, Rhinelander. Harry has everything a little white dog with black spots could want. There’s just one problem: he hates taking baths. He hates them so much that he runs away and spends a wonderful day playing in the dirt. Harry gets so grubby that he turns into a little black dog with white spots and returns home to find that his family doesn’t recognize him. ArtsPower’s musical is based on the book by Gene Zion. Full Moon Snowshoeing, YMCA of the Northwoods, Rhinelander. A special family night. Get outdoors and enjoy snowshoeing on the Y Stoney Pines Trail. The Full Moon Snowshoeing will begin at 5:30. Campfire, hot chocolate, and marshmallows. The Y will have a limited amount of snow shoes available to use. If you have your own snow shoes, please bring them. Also bring a flashlight or headlamp. It will be a full moon but extra lighting is always good. Bring lawn chairs to sit around the fire. Winter Festival, Conserve School, 5400 N Black Oak Lake Rd, Land O' Lakes. 10am-2pm. Join the Conserve School in a day of winter fun with skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, a campfire, lunch and more! CANtastic Event, Rouman Cinema, Rhinelander. The annual Rhinelander Area Food Pantry event where competing community teams design and build structures out of food. A unique way to help feed the hungry in our community, by using canned or boxed food to build structures based on a theme. Annual Ice Golf Tournament on Lake Minocqua, Albee's Yacht Club, Minocqua. 1pm-6pm.
