There is something special about the dogs that get us through our early adulthood. This baby passed six months ago and was my friend’s first dog. He got her through moves to different apartments and states, the first time entering a new career, and the many different people you become throughout your twenties and thirties. I put so much love into make this urn for him in his final resting place.
While this was a gift since I was playing with a new form, pet commemorations are the most meaningful functional art forms that I create and I’m always so honored to be chosen to make them.
