Making pots!

Meet my studio helper, Thicket.

She’s my foster dog and has been an absolute gift for my broken heart. Moose would always be nearby when I was working in my studio…she has a few of his behaviors, which I love.

Prepping for a holiday sale in November. I’ll have at least two of these salmon mugs. I just finished painting this one - who knows when glazing will be done!

A crazy thing happened…someone bought out The Rockwells complete inventory of my work, so I’m hustling to get more pieces ready for a restock! I’m particularly fond of this soon to be salmon sculpture vase 😍!

Big news! I'm going to be a featured artist this Friday, August 7, at the Rockwell (Stephan Fine Arts) in the Captain Cook from 5:30-9:30 PM!

I'll have some of my mug bases with me and will be painting live so you can get a behind-the-scenes look at my artistic process.

They also have one of the best selections of artwork in the area. In fact, I bought my very first piece of Alaskan art there when I moved to the state in 2014!

If you've never experienced First Friday in Anchorage, it's awesome! The Anchorage Museum offers free admission, Turnagain Ceramics has free 30-minute pottery wheel lessons, and lots of other local businesses host special events and activities throughout the evening.

I hope to see you there!

This piece will be available at Stephan Fine Arts in Anchorage during First Friday on August 7. I’ll be there from 5:30–9:30 p.m. as the featured artist, painting mug bases and sharing my process.
