Winter is here and bands are doing more indoor shows. I’m wide open for sound. For next couple months. Currently working with Smile, Crush and Liquid Pleasure. Got some new gigs next week. Can use more if anyone needs a soundman. I’m not under contract so it’s “first come, first serve”

Excited to work with these guys at Earnhardt Studio. Will be the first band I’ve worked with in there since the wife and I installed all the room acoustics and recording gear. Can’t forget granny with her great work at covering the wall traps! This band decided to record their first album here in the USA with Rick and I. It’s going to be a blast engineering them.
The studio looks amazing and the room sounds excellent. These guys hit it hard.

Cure My Rage

Jeff and I wrote lyrics to this song after I drafted a random instrumental of all the instruments. He said “it’s totally about your driving habits” 😝. We started tracking and had Kara, Cara & Tommy come in and do backing vocals with me. It turned out bad ass. Kara came up with this melody during the chorus and solo of the song. I felt it was my best guitar solo work and came on the fly in the studio. These were the golden days for album 2. More to come!

This Saturday will be the 9th year in business for myself. I’ve been in this business for 19 years total… I started at 16 as the guitarist for the North Hollywood band The Musical Freak Show. Then quickly got into engineering in the studio, within just a couple years I formed the urge to run the stages. My biggest creation was DethCadence in 2005 when I was just writing with a few friends who started as jam mates. wow! Time really runs by so fast. Here’s to many more years to come! Living in the clouds and loving it 😊
