🍞 I’ve been having some fun experimenting with sourdough, my new favorite creation is white chocolate strawberry!🍓 After we ate the first loaf SO FAST, I came up with baby breads made in a muffin tin! They’re not quite muffins, as they are still sourdough, perhaps buns is closer to an accurate description, but I like baby bread 🥰
Also let’s not mention how funny strawberries look baked in 😝

Hello Mama Bear Bakery family! It’s Jessi! Many of you knew my mama, the original Mama Bear, Kristi. Her passing this year had been a huge toll on all of us, but we’re finally reaching a place where we can begin to move forward. I got my love of baking from her, and am continuing her business, but with a fresh start. I’ll be launching a re-brand of the bakery, maintaining some of her hard earned DNA while incorporating my own identity. The name will be changed to “Baby Bear Treat Shop”, a name that keeps her iconic bear motif, while making it my own. I’ll be coming out with an updated to-order menu soon to share with you all, and sharing my journey as I jump into the world of enhancing my skills in cake decorating and other such skills I learned from her.

And the votes are in… Baby Bear Treat Shop will be the new name of Mama Bear Bakery! I’ll be working on a new (non-ai) logo soon, but threw together a mockup in the meantime! As a proudly non-gen-ai business, you will NEVER see me running my products through AI generators or having gpt steal me pretty pictures of treats, none of that. Stay tuned!

I made my first sourdough loaf last night! Making bread is new to me and has always been intimidating, but I took the leap and I’m sooooo happy with the turnout! It’ll take some practice to get it perfect, but this is a very exciting development in my baking journey!

Good morning Mama Bear Family, Jessi here! I come to you humbled with a question.
As I’m relaunching the page, I’m coming across a trouble with branding. A BIG one is that there are a LOT of “mama bear bakery” pages, and there’s even another local vendor using the same name. Being that the actual “mama bear” is no longer with us, I’m thinking about rebranding the page with a new name, more unique and with better SEO.
So my question is very open ended. What do YOU think of this? Do you have ideas of new names? I’m going through ideas now, and want to stay connected to our current audience to maintain the consistency and trust you’ve had in us.
