Coming Sunday Sept. 20!

Bluffstrokes Paint Out starts here in Dubuque and it's going to be another great opportunity to see great art!

The week culminates in a sale at Cathedral Square next Friday and Saturday but follow along with me during the week to track my progress.

I have a hard time remembering to take photos while I work but will make the supreme effort this year!

We're heading to The Collective in Elkader, IA today!

We will be part of the Artist's Spotlight Exhibit for the month of September.

Stop in for First Fridays, have some snacks and drinks, and see us in person.

That's the best way to see art, especially oil paintings, to get the feel of them, see the textures and colors correctly.

Have you seen my paintings on exhibit at Fritz And Frites in Galena?

Fred has allowed me the privilege of gracing his walls with my work, surrounding diners with local art.

You really have to experience art in person, especially oil paintings, to see brushstrokes, correct colors, and to feel the mood of a piece.

Treat yourself to a delicious dinner and take home original art to enjoy forever!

It's a lovely, serene stretch of river as you first come into town, a familiar scene for locals.

I took a stroll behind Grandview Methodist Church yesterday to look for inspiration and found this evergreen tree that had seen better days.

I love to look for trees like myself, worn, weathered but still with some life in them!😂

I tried to capture the character of it, with its twists, bare spots, and needles the color of rust.
