Twenty years ago my friend Don suggested I consider starting a Junior Farmer program. It has since become very popular with hundreds of participants! A few years ago my friend Dick suggested that I should have a Senior Farmer program. I have finally worked out the details and it is up and running on our website. It is geared to all those grandparents who want to bring their adult children and their grandchildren to the farm at half the regular price. It's Saturday and the forecast for the weekend is suddenly a lot better. We expect to be open both days. The temperature will be quite nice also. A great time to visit the farm. We don't expect to be very busy either because the forecast had been a lot worse. Lots of new babies to see and feed- baby goats, calves, lambs, piglets, bunnies and. of course, chicks. Come and you can say hello to an old goat-me!

We will have a soft opening on Friday May 22nd. This means only our Facebook followers know about this before our official opening on Saturday. You are among our most faithful supporters and you deserve a special invitation. This will be our 62nd season and my 50th year running it as I bought the Farm from my parents in 1976. I don't even think about retiring as I still enjoy it so much and I always have great young people helping me. I'm forever grateful that my father had the dream of creating a peaceful place that allowed people to mingle with farm animals. Hope to see you all once again and thanks so much for your continued support over all these years.
