HAPPY GAME OF SHROOMS! 🍄 this is my 3rd year participating in the global mushroom art seek and find! find my felted morel mushrooms in town TODAY between 12N-1:30PM along East State Street. RULES: FINDERS KEEPERS! Follow my stories for clues to where each is located then forage! ✨PLEASE✨ @ TAG ME in YOUR STORIES so i can mark each shroom as claimed as they were found!!!

core wool and carded merino wool on lilac stems
and about 10 hours of felting (bc i opted for a soft pretty wool than a color block bc if i do something i do *that thinggggg* despite knowing better lol) HAPPY HUNTING FRIENDS!

after i recorded this, and edited out a lot of silence, rambling and tears, i attended to my kids. now i feel silly. laura crashes out online. but whatever. you know what is hard--pretending my life hasnt been. how tired i really am. how depleted i really am. how and where and to who i show or hide struggle. dont complain. show blips not reality. show photos not feelings. thanks to the absolutely unexpected and utterly beautiful response i got from to which im still beside myself, i also got to drop the weight of keeping myself together. so for these 2 minutes (which lets be real it was like 12 to begin with) watch me be sad and grateful and in awe and a total wreck of feelings colliding that came from a company (in 2026!!!) doing something nice bc they could, bc they wanted to. i dont put it all out there. thats a choice. but please know to anyone who has ever let me know they care even a little bit, i appreciate you and your thoughtfulness.
