March is National Women’s Month, and we’re celebrating the innovators, explorers, and problem‑solvers who’ve shaped STEM throughout history. To honor their resilience and brilliance, we’re spotlighting one of nature’s toughest creatures, the tardigrade. Just like the women who’ve pushed science forward, tardigrades embody grit, curiosity, and unstoppable energy.

This week’s NYR renewal theme is self‑love, so here’s our reminder that failures are okay.

Every “failed” design taught us something: who our audience is, how to use AI as a tool, and how to wrangle the other AI (Adobe Illustrator) into doing what we envision. And honestly, that was the whole point.

We made things, we experimented, we learned, and we kept going.

This might be my favorite review of all time. Short, simple, to the point. It makes me laugh every time, and I’m glad they're happy.

II was reading Built to Move and came across a sit/stand test designed to measure how easily someone can get off the floor — a key marker of long-term independence. I’m 35, so I figured I’d ace it. I did not. But others at work did… and I started floor sitting.

That moment got me thinking about what movement should look like for me. Not just now, but years from now. This month, I’m highlighting ComMotion, a nonprofit that helps people of all ages build strength, balance, and confidence through accessible movement programs.
