When we spread the word about our events, you will usually see a suggested donation, along with "No one turned away for lack of funds", aka "NOTAFLOF". What does that mean?

We believe the arts are for ALL, and we want you to come enjoy our offerings regardless of your ability to pay.

However- we have a variety of expenses, from staff, to use of the space, refreshments, etc., and especially re-imbursing the artists for their time and talent. So here's the heart of NOTAFLOF: pay what you can, come anyway if you can't pay, and if you are able to be generous, feel free to make an additional donation to cover the cost of those who can't! And thank you!

The first contra dance of the 2025 summer season will be held at Finn Hall tomorrow, Saturday, June 21! This will be a beginner-friendly dance, with simple barn dances, easy contra dances, and a Finn dance and a Swedish dance thrown in for fun! All ages and levels of experience welcome (including rank beginners). All dances taught by Allison Aldrich Smith, and music by the local band Some Reel People. Admission $10, under 18 free, no one turned away for lack of funds. Please come!
