Jackson County Green Energy Park

Jackson County Green Energy Park The Dillsboro Creative Arts Center is located at the Jackson County Green Energy Park. We are a unique arts facility powered by recaptured landfill gas.

We have studios in glass and metal and wood-fire kilns for rent and we offer classes. The Jackson County Green Energy Park (JCGEP) utilizes clean, renewable energy resources to encourage economic development, provide environmental protection, and offer educational opportunities that together will help lead towards a more sustainable future for Western North Carolina. Located in Dillsboro, NC, JCGE

P captures methane gas from the old town landfill, then uses the gas as fuel for a series of artisan studios, and other ventures. The JCGEP also provides glass and metal studios for public rental, along with a wood/soda-fire anagama kiln for public rental.
