Well, that felt good.

From concept to ex*****on, this piece was 6+ months in the making.

Although simple, she came to pass after studio changes, loss, travel, and a big move back to Georgia.

Feels like I had to move mountains for her to get here.

Now she’s off to find a home with one of y’all, benefiting Sarah Bingham Ceramics pottery passion project Portland Ceramic Supply !

Slow mornings + babies + this week’s mug in rotation

I have a lot of feelings about my current state of affairs.

Many of you know that I recently moved out of my studio space and am unsure how I’m going to proceed.

I’ve cobbled together something that looks like useable space in a very rustic shed. I’m believing it will be an adequate studio when the weather improves over the coming weeks.

Being in such a rural location has been such a beautiful, faceted experience. Exactly what we needed to bring our children earth side.

Now that they’re here, it’s proving to be pretty isolating. Lonely at times. Postpartum is a wild ride. I’m missing my community in Atlanta.

Not sure why I’m compelled to share other than to remind myself that I’ll find my art practice, tribe, and fulfillment outside of motherhood again. Life is a series of seasons. Impermanence is permanent. Staying present is the only way through.

One month of this breech blonde beauty.
We’re beyond blessed with these perfect two boys in less than two years.
Two babies we weren’t sure if we’d ever have.
Through the tears (mostly mom’s and dad’s) and the exhaustion, it’s not lost on us what a miracle this is.
