More about Jerod (._.willis )–
“I am a filmmaker and teacher. I create music, narrative, experimental, and commercial films. I use cinema to connect and empower my community. My birthplace, Detroit, is the source of my creativity, drawing me to art at a young age. My artistic development began in high school, I attended an Emmy award-winning film program as a director, actor, and editor. My creativity led me to Wayne State University, where I won awards in the Ann Arbor and Free Press Film festivals for my student films. Following graduation, my passion sparked the founding of Mission Detroit, creating community through film. Presently, as a film teacher, I nourish my craft and support students at Detroit School of Arts. As an artist, I uplift my craft and city.” Learn more at jerodwillis.com
