I can’t be the only one tired of the ‘wyd’ and ‘u up’ culture. It feels like we’ve traded real effort for the bare minimum just because it’s easier, and honestly, modern dating is exhausted. We have all this technology to connect, yet it feels more disconnected than ever. A low-effort text isn’t a replacement for a real conversation or a thoughtful gesture. I miss the days when someone actually had a plan and showed up because they wanted to, not just because they were bored on their phone. I’m over the casual ‘check-ins’……give me someone who still believes in chivalry and knows how to be a gentleman without being asked. It’s time to stop playing games and start raising the bar again.
Let’s bring back some actual intention. 😘
