We want to show our thanks to all those who help mold the next generation, and make a huge difference in this society, and especially personally to Maideli and myself. I can personally say that without certain teachers and mentors who believed in me when even I didn't believe in myself I would not have gotten to where I am today, and so we pass that thanks along to all of you still fighting the good fight for our future! Any teachers, professors, librarians, aides, counselors, therapists, those who work with juveniles, and with at risk youth, hope this shows our appreciation for the hard work you do in making this a world worth living in!

✨We Survived Iowa Winter Spring Salsa Ball & Fundraiser — Presented by 26th St Latin Dance & The River Center

Des Moines’ premier Latin dance studio is bringing you a special Friday night social with a dual purpose: celebrating the end of winter with elegance and raising funds to continue hosting unique social dance events across the Des Moines metro.

Put on your best spring formal attire and join us at the River Center, one of downtown Des Moines’ classiest venues, for a night of dancing, food, drinks, and raffled prizes.

✨ Bring your family, friends, and neighbors. This event is open to everyone.

Don’t know how to Salsa? No problem. Zahar and Maideli from 26th St. Latin Dance will kick off the night with an intro Salsa class to get you moving before the dancing begins.
